Introducing ACE

Hi guys,
Introducing ACE, The Association of Car Enthusiasts. Visit and Register your concern for the future of your hobby.
I'm sure you are all aware of legislation threatening the hobby of modifying vehicles or rebuilding classics or just your interest in motoring. I know the FBHVC have been doing sterling work on behalf of classic vehicle enthusiasts. ACE, a group of people from the Hot Rod and Custom/Kustom scene have also been working on our behalf and the whole modifying scene in general. This latter group now have a website which can be accessed by visiting the following URL here, http://www.the-ace.org.uk
ACE currently has a voice on the DVLA consultation list and is currently looking at being represented on the VOSA list.
The purpose of this ACE website is to provide a platform where all vehicle based legislative issues can be readily accessed and to provide a rallying point for all interested parties. In the past it has been an uphill struggle to get the information out to all the clubs, forums and magazines in a short and concise form when you really need to know the background to the issues to understand, fully, the implications. Hopefully the information provided here will provide the necessary history and go some way to explain possible implications of legislation as it arises.
It is hoped that those who visit will register for update mails and from those interested parties a larger working committee can be formed.
Thanks for reading,
Ade
