Snow Way To Treat A 500
New baby Fiat used and abused by snowboarders
The Fiat 500 may have only just hit the streets of Britain but it looks like the Italians are already so bored of them already they’ve tried to bury one in snow.
These shots were taken in Italian ski resort Sestriere and the car was buried at the end of the snowboard park.
The idea is snowboarders can slide over the rail above the little Fiat, presumably while checking out its cheeky lines.
There was no engine and the windows were boarded up so we can only believe it was a development hack.
We are guessing any lights and parts on this one have been swiped by Italian drivers that have already bashed up their 500s in the first week of ownership.
Discussion
Don't worry. If I know snowboarders...with two in the house, I do...it won't be long before the Fiat bites back: The toll so far this winter? Seven stitches and a badly sprained wrist. And those are girls.
On the other hand, I slipped on sandy pavement getting out of a car and broke my arm. (It's about this point when I start talking about my old motocross/enduro injuries, just to save face...).
