There was a story some ludicrous EU woman on the radio this morning whining that life insurance discriminated against women because they lived longer.

Why can't these supposedly intelligent people get it into their heads that insurance is there to make a profit for insurance companies, it's not a tool of government policy to be tinkered with to further their own social engineering aims?
