Bentley Conti GT gets widebody treatment

So what do you do if you are a Japanese street racer, who loves Fast and the Furious, but then wins the lottery?

Get yourself a Bentley Continental GT and head over to tuner Premier4509 double quick for a widebody aero kit.

Apparently Premier4509 is the premium arm of bodykit bad-boys Veilside and although the Bentley may not be to everybody’s taste you can’t argue with the quality.

The parts are handmade from a mix of carbon fibre and fibreglass, and include side sills, a new front and rear bumper, and extended wheel arches.

If you can bring yourself to do it there are a set of ‘custom exhaust tips’ to go with it.

Company president, Hironao Yokomaku said that 'the purpose of this design exercise was to enhance the cars aggressive nature while at the same time keeping a refined look that matched with the original body lines.'

The bodykit is thankfully limited edition and as such only 100 Bentleys will be subjected to this fate.

They also come with a numbered serial plate for footballers to show their team mates.

Well, though I could never do it myself, at least it's better than some of the other CGT efforts that have appeared on here.

Might even grow on me getmecoat

You know what, I think it looks no worse than the original. No better, granted, but no worse.

The standard Conti GT is hardly a stunner, this is borderline offensive..! Think how happy the majority of Premiership footy players will be at the site of this.. It's tragic!

From the front it kinda looks like an old art deco locomotive (if you squint). Which is probably what it should have looked like from the beginning IMO.

Totally out of character with the car.

Absolutely and then if they lost the grill infront of the front wheel, the one on the side then it would enhance the design and make the Bentley look as smooth as the silouette of a dolphin swimming around the ballroom of the Titanic.

Doesn't the car have to have a character to begin with?

I like it boxedin

Looks 10x better than any Veilside monster.

Actually quite understated for a change.

Would be awesome to see one of those things up the backside of a GT-R around the track smile

I hate to think how much some people will pay to do that to their car... more than I'm able to pay for a car in the first place anyway.

I rather like this- if you consider how big the base car is when you look at the pictures you can see it is going to have some serious presense on the road.
A little vulgar though.

I like it a lot. It will be heavier than the base car so slower in all respects. Better to make a one piece mould of the whole thing and drop that onto a Nascar type chassis using the Bentley engine and transmission and two light bucket seats for track days.
