PH Lotus Competition Winner Announced

One lucky Pher has won a Lotus Driver Training Experience

Last month we gave you details of a new Lotus competition to win a Lotus Driver Training Experience.

We are pleased to announce the winner is Dell Vincent (login Davi).

This fantastic day takes place at the Hethel test circuit in Norfolk and includes oversteer and understeer training, braking activities, full circuit driving sessions and high speed passenger rides.

When we contacted Dell he said: ‘Are you serious?! Blimey if you are this means I'm going to have to find a car reliable enough to make it to Norfolk!’

Five runners-up will receive PH merchandise and they will be contacted by email over the next few days.

We will be featuring Dell's driving day on PistonHeads.

Congratulations Dell!

And the best bit is that you get to do it in a VX220 - The thinking man's Elise!

Is this the competition? It turned from winning an actual Elise to driving one, once?

Now do I try and get the cam belt done on the Audi or just risk it...

Maybe you can pick up some tips for your own car when you're there! wink

At least it went to a 'proper' PHer.

The 'car' never actually existed and PH/Ted never received the money from the texts; hence the legal action between PH/Haymarket and the organisers... frown (so I believe)

I think PH/Haymarket Media have been brilliant about this - they could have said, "sorry guys nothing to do with us" - but they organised something to replace it at their own cost.

clap to Dell for winning, and to PH for taking it on the chin!

I did the driver day recently and it was absolutely fan bloody tastic, you'll be driving an Elise S and will learn a great deal regardless of the car you drive-the most fun i've had with my pants on.
P.S Stay the night before at the Old Thorn Barn, its next door to Lotus and cost £56 for a double smile
