Erm... nothing new, Auto Express have been doing this for some time...

Indeed they have - but we couldn't get anywhere near some of the target prices they quote when we bought a new car recently.

We got;

4% at VW
5% at Alfa
9% at Renault
0% at Mercedes

and everyone gets 17.5% at Citroen with the current no-VAT offer.

I just moved back to the USA, and there are several web sites here to help buyers. All you do is put in your post code, and away you go. Edmunds.com and carsdirect.com are two of them. These two are also very helpful when looking for a used car.
