Mini Marques
Ad agency shows us what car logos looked like as babies. Why?...
At last the answer to the question that no-one dared ask. What would the logos of sportscar manufacturers have looked like when they were babies?
For those that have had sleepless nights thinking about it here you have them.
The logos have apparently been put together by a Brazilian as agency called Denstu, who were working with die-cast scale model company Minichamps.
Totally pointless but pretty cute all the same – we just don’t get the Maserati dinner fork one. Oh, hang on a minute…
Discussion
Then I guess a Dodge Ram would be a lamb, the Chevrolet "bowtie" would be a baby bib, the tidy script on the Ford logo would be a five-year old's hand printing. Any marque that uses a letter as a logo (e.g., Honda) would be in lower case.
The arrow on Volvo's logo would be smaller (think about it...OK, the circle with an a arrow is actually the old alchemist's symbol for iron, but it's also the symbol for "male", so...).
Saab could have, depending on which logo chosen, a head-on silhouette of a bi-plane, or in the tradional Saab-Scania logo, a kitten burping a little puff of smoke.
Mercedes would have a two-pointed star (?) and Audi would be down to two rings and BMW would have a circle split in half with blue on one side and white on the other...
