IF you could have any car you wanted, which would it be? My favourite car has to be the Nissan Skyline. My dad used to have one, unfortunately i was too young too appreciate it, but he had it done up to 450bhp, and the limiter taken off so it could reach 185 mph. The noise, beauty and performance of this car is almost unreal, and i could think of very few cars that would be more fun to drive than this

mine's a little different... a good Landy 110 County Station Wagon with all the extras.... can't beat it. Looks the part on a shoot when i get out in tweeds and wellies and the dogs pour out of the back, and it looks great when it's all gleaming and I step out in my best Boss suit... well, I think so anyway!

Cutting it down to one car is very very difficult.

My top five (this week)

1. Lambo reventon (murcialago)
2. Zonda F
3. Aston Martin DBS
4. Ferrari 250gt California ( I would just dribble looking at it)
5. Ferrari F40

It will all change in an hour....

Clearly you know very little about cars. That's your all-time dream car? I'm actually saddened by that.

mate, probably know far more than you. i have grown up surrounded by cars ranging from a lotus elise to a corvette, a TVR tuscan to a caterham, so you have no right to tell me i know nothing about cars. The Skyline is one of the best cars in its class, and certainly the most fun to race in.

But it's not a 'dream' car. It's an 'attainable' car. I will own a TVR at some point in the next few years, but I'll most likely never own a Zonda, an 'Egg, an XK120 Roadster or a 250 GTO. Those are the definition of a dream cars, I would say.

A Nissan Skyline is the pinnacle of your motoring wet dream? I'm sure it's a fine car (I never slated it, so stop getting all protective of it) and I stand by my previous comments.

Oh, and you're about 14 years old, so I doubt you know more than I do.wink

nah you were taking the piss. Everyone has their own perfect car..look at some of the previous comments, and you will see that some of the cars are very attainable, but at the same time they have a special personal value to that person.

Can't a car be both? Others have even posted cars they previously owned as their dream car.

Anyway, my dream cars (most quite attainable):

Lotus Elan Sprint

Lotus Carlton

Caterham R500

Fisher Fury

Ferrari F40

I'd still say there's a difference. 'Dream' itself suggest something that is unlikely to come true!

Sorry for going off topic here, but what about a person's dream job? Usually an attainable position.
