I remember reading afew years back that they were trying to develop airbags for bikes????

So how would they work then ?

maybe they deploy full of helium, and lift you out of the way of the crash before it happens?

They'll never make us wear crash helmets, because that might wipe out the revenue from forward-facing speed cams...

I'd happily wear a crash helmet in the car. I do on track days...so what's the problem? Open face jobby rather than full face though...

But only if it becomes a legal requirement - ed if I'm going to drive around looking the fool if no other bugger does...

Oh and side curtain airbags really, really do work. I saw two lads lives saved by the system fitted to the latest Saabs. Absolutely amazing...
