Possibly. What's more worrying though, is the infrastructure surrounding the track. Currently there's one single-carriageway road that leads to the entrance, and that's in pretty poor condition.

To create anything remotely as useful as the road access to Silverstone will take some serious time, effort and planning. Otherwise you'd better start queueing at 6am for the mid-afternoon GP frown

Whilst I love the idea of their still being a British GP I just cannot see Donington getting everything ready for 2010 including an agreement with the airport and access roads.
I just think this is part of that nice Mr Ecclestone's master plan to get another race in a country that will pay him pots of money and yet be able to say that he was happy to have a UK race but the circuit could not come up with the improvements in time.
