I remember when the Ka was first launched, I wasn't really that keen on it but it grew on me over time. It's a fun car to drive and does its job of cheap motoring really well.

I'm not sure if it's just the pictures, but the new Ka just doesn't look right, sort of squashed. I'm sure it'll be a cracking little car though.

Autoexpress eh? They must be real pics then.

Not.

Does look smart though, and if it looks anything like that (if its even bought out in ST guise) I look forward to seeing one on the road.

To me the Ka has always been a cheap runaround car not a hot hatch, but then with Fords current record with Hot hatches (Old RS, ASBO ST Focus, ST Fiesta, and the new RS coming out next year) I'm sure it will be a hoot to drive.

on a side note, I saw a old looking Ka the other day with a Turbo badge on the back, make me chuckle.

125mph flat out.

Errr. I don't think I'd want to be in it doing any more than 60 thankyou!

I still think it looks squashed from all angles. Maybe it will grow on me like the BMW 5 series did.

Is that not an Aygo? Look at the rear end...more than a passing resemblance.

I had a Ka3 when they first came out, and it was superb! More chuckable than a chuckable thing on chucking day.

The rep joked that they were bring out an Si vervion and it would be called an KAsi!

Hardly worthy of the ST badge in my opinion. I can think of a number of new hot hatches I'd much rather have than this luke warm performer, Corsa VXR for one.

Yep, my first thoughts.

It's a yawning Aygo.

The Ka is a step down from the Corsa though? This would be more akin to a Lupo GTI?
