Veyron GT Details Emerge?
New car could have 1350bhp and 1018lb-ft of torque
It's been common knowledge for a while that there will be a faster Veyron arriving at some point, probably in the form of a limited edition run-out model. But according to reports a leaked official document now gives more detail on the 'Veyron GT'.
According to the memo the GT will basically be a standard Veyron with more power and some minor mods. The numbers being thrown around are 1,350bhp and 1,018lb-ft of torque. These new stats should make the car good for 262mph.
The document claims the car will also be fitted with upgraded carbon-ceramic brakes, a new electronic stability program, and a new active aerodynamics package. 0-60mph will take just 2.4 seconds and the car will go back to zero in 2.2 seconds. The car is expected to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year and apparently current owners will be able to retro-fit the mods to their standard Veyron.
The memo comes from website Nine-to-Five and is yet unconfirmed, but you can see it below.
I highly doubt this is a genuine one off car.
Think of how much work it took to produce the original 1001bhp (8 or 10 radiators) and suddenly they can now make these engines produce 350bhp more?
I call hoax..anyone else agree?
