Discussion
Hello all - as Managing Director of Trident Performance Vehicles (and the designer of the Iceni), I just wanted to let you know that we are here and willing to answer any questions you have about the car.
There's been a lot of comments registered with Piston Heads which have been unanswered by us - now ask me!
I look forward to hearing from you.

Good to see you are still around Phil, I always looked forward to seeing you on your way to work a few years back.(probably around 2002 near Fakenham) Any part-time jobs going?
I know several Pauls - which one are you? There could be a part-time job available. Please e-mail me: phil@trident-vehicles.co.uk
I'm a BIG fan of this car, the ethos, the style and even the madness......
But it's just the price I can't cope with.
I fully understand that building cars is expensive, even more so when doing R&D. But at £75k (hope I got it right) it just prices the car beyond most people's means.
Personally I'd love one, but a £75k car for me is a pipe dream, let alone that £75k car being more of a play thing rather than a serious DD or 4 seater.
The way I see it, only people who REALLY REALLY want one will pay that, or even go and look at one. For a more modest sum you'd attract a far larger target audience.
Also, when spending £75k on a play thing, or weekend car. Who seriously cares about mpg??? I suspect very few, so again it limits the appeal and the target audience.
£25-35k and I think it would make much more sense. As it would become an affordable supercar/sports car for the masses.
Maybe offer a less powerful version to compete against the likes of a Honda S2000, Nissan 350z, Lotus Elise. The people who buy that sort of car, would probably be quite acceptable to a good looking, good handling sports car with plenty of power and fantastic fuel economy.
I would love to show my support by placing an order, sadly as this is financially un-viable, all I can do is wish you every success.
