Marcos LM600 road car back in the Uk after 12 years

Hi all new to this web site and thought i would spread the news that i am now the proud owner of the Lm600, its currently under major work at the moment and will not be on the road prob until dec/ jan?? lots of things will be done inc full carbon fibre aero kit and a re paint in lambo orange!! so keep an eye out for this car it will look stunning when completed.

the carbon fibre work will take about 2 weeks from now to be completed, and then i reckon the prep work of the body and painting will be another 6 weeks SO by early dec should be done, make a nice xmas present for me!!!! and i will post the pics, to give you an idea what ideas i have look at my LM400 i have just put on the classifiedsfor sale, this is a very nice and cherished car but selling as a result of obtaining this LM600

how are you? yes the green beast is up for sale ( never thought i would be typing these words!!!!) but yes i got the lm600 so this is currently under way getting all carbon fibre'd up like the green one but everything is bigger!! and chrome orange paint finish for the lm600 also, are you interested in the lm400 then??

I used to watch the LM600s in GTs back in the day. Certainly GT1 in those days meant homologation of 25 road models. How did Marcos circumnavigate that? Can't wait to see the car out and about. They often get a collection of supercars on display at the Silverstone FIA GT round - might be worth considering. They had a 288GTO Evoluzione last year...
It's off the road cos I ran out of cash.
I built a new blueprinted engine for it. Then put 8 jenveys and a supercharger on it.
Blew up the new ECU and then got made redundant. So can't afford to finish it yet. It will run again
They got round the homologation rules by effectively calling it a Mantara LM600.
As though it was a Mantara Evo
When they were at Le Mans with the 600s the first time, they turned up with the race cars but the LM Authorities wanted to see a another road car (they'd only ever seen the blue one) and they didn't have one. So they naild one together in a couple of days (with a bog standard Chev 350 in it) took it down to LM on a trailer. Drove it from a mile away....got the nod....drove it a mile out then it died.
It recently got bought and it being sorted properly. So there should be 3 LM600s on the road eventually.
