Nissan 370Z NISMO leaked?

Hardcore version of the new Nissan Z car is on the cards

Official images of the new Nissan 370Z have already been released but as yet the company has not confirmed whether there will be a high performance NISMO version. But now a new unofficial picture has surfaced that could well be a NISMO 370Z, featuring a number of aerodynamic add-ons.

Sadly there is no text with the single image that appeared on site 370ZTec.com but the package of bodykit and rear wing does appear to be an official job. It is likely that there will be a NISMO version of the new Z car and to accompany the aero package expect bigger brakes and improved suspension components.

The 350Z NISMO does without any engine upgrades but that doesn’t mean the new car will too, with Nissan clearly taking its challenge with Porsche – and in this case the Cayman – very seriously.

that looks awful. porsche, although slated for having very similar an unaltered styling....i would take a CaymanS over this any day. still, each to their own.

Na, the V1 Nismo was about a 3k premium, so add 3 to 28.

Speaking of which, i hate the v2 direction Nismo have taken, the V1 350z was a beautifully aggressive car, the V2 is just rice.

I'm thinking about a Cayman next too which is a shame as i really wanted the cost savings of a 370z, i just don't like it.

I'm with Jon- on this.. I built up a v1 NISMO kit on my old 350z, but wouldn't go near this one.. such a shame - I had high hopes for it frown

Am i the only one that thinks the old 'Z' looks better?
It looks to lardy anyway - any ideas what engine it will have? Surely not the same 3.5l?
Just a thought... tumbleweed

After owning a 350z gt and now in the mood for changing the Ro this car has coem at the right time. I was considering going back to the Zed as it was a fantastic car but this looks bloody gorgeous. So long as the interior quality has improved I'll be looking very closely at getting one of either the Nismos or the uprated GT's (which will happen).
