I have a courier company and one of our vans is suffering from a loss of power over 50mph It has just been serviced and the garage say no faults were found and they dont know what could be the cause. It runs well around town at low speeds.

Does anyone have any suggestions what may cause this? Thanks all

Sound like a breather hose working loose. I had a similar thing with an old Cupra. When it got up to speed the airflow was pulling on a breather hose that had a small tear in it. The air pressure opened this up and the engine ran itself lean. Only happened when the engine was warm and the hose flexible enough to give.

Car went to dealers so many times before an older wiser mechanic looked at it and went over all the hoses. Muttering 'Bloody diagnostics' repeatedly.
