Serial Thriller
Aston One-77: the soap opera continues...
Accompanied by suitably dramatic camerawork and moody theme music, the team charged with turning Aston's amazing One-77 concept into real life museum pieces - er... super-dupercars - has released the second episode of its video series designed to make us all that little bit more jealous.
With the design already out there thanks to a series of leaked images, the video doesn’t give us much more in the way of hard facts, but it does provide an interesting bit of 'mood music' to keep the 77 depositors happy while Aston waits for their cheques to clear.
Discussion
Is it me, or does this look a lot like the Daytona concept that ford built?

Not just you thinking that! I know which I would rather have!http://www.seriouswheels.com/2005/2005-Ford-Shelby...
Although i like this car, a lot, it is very good looking, going to be very quick etc etc. If i was in a situation where i could buy it, i would be put off by the fact that it looks so similar to "normal" aston's DB9's etc, especially from the back, and for that amount of money the looks donut set it apart enough for it to feel truly special. all in IMHO obviously.

I agree - most people who see it will just think it's a tarted up DB9. Only really obsessive petrolheads (like us James
) will even have a clue what it is.That might be the angle they're going for I suppose - but I'd still want something a bit more distinctive myself.

I think that without having hands on experience of this car, and other supercars, you can't make any comment other than one based on looks and reputation.
Having said that, I think that there must be a meeting I missed or something... I think it looks OK, a slightly flashier version of other Astons, so it's to the V8 what the 288GTO was to the 308..... except I prefer the 288GTO ...

Hey if I were gonna be one of the 77 owners of this car, wouldn be complaining...at only 1500kg in weight n a 7.0L engine to blow you from 0-60 at 3.5s... rawwwwwr, massive achievement
of course, not biased to the aston lol. Not much competition to the veyron 16.4 though...has a much higher speed than the one-77 gah keep on wanting to type 007 grr. As far as I'm aware anyway :S Cant believe all are sold out already o.o

I'm not so sure they've sold them all...last I heard they'd only sold a few, with plenty of "interest"
