Innotech Corvette

Czech 'Vette goes Italian

Has this 'Vette been drinking Red Bull?
Has this 'Vette been drinking Red Bull?
Czech manufacturer Innotech has been rather quiet since the ill-fated 'Mysterro' supercar project, but they have now re-emerged offering tuning accessories for the Corvette C6.

The styling tweaks are unabashedly Italian, with a Ferrari-style bumper and grill, and floating C-frames at the back reminiscent of the Ferrari 599. Other Italian influences are revealed in the over-the-top 'scissor doors', that classic Lamborghini trait that seems to be cropping up all over the place recently.

The C6 also gets a performance upgrade, with varying levels of tweaking giving the V8 between 500 - 560 bhp in NA form, and 600 - 1000 bhp when fitted with twin-turbos or a supercharger. Yup, that's right - 1000 bhp. We sincerely hope to be able to bring you more on that particular variant as soon as possible...

The Z06 and ZR1 variants will shortly also recieve the Innotech treatment, and the company promises 'all new carbon fibre body, engine and chassis modifications' for all of their tweaked 'Vettes. While we can't say much for the (perhaps a little contrived) styling accessories, the performance tweaks are an intruiging prospect when mated to the surprisingly-able chassis of the current Corvette. Bravo, Innotech...

Huge improvement over the original visually! I like it!

Its amazing how they managed this, when one sees the state or their factory in the background!

Looks like the kit for those that can't afford a ferrari, not particularly original is it?

Im sorry, but it looks like one of them walked passed a Ferrari garage, and went running straight back to the factory saying "I've just had some great ideas!"

Corvettes have always had their own distinct American styling. I don't think the Italian looking body mods are really that necessary. Especially not the de-badged rear bumper and Ferrari-esque rear lights...

Corvette have their own heritage, no need to copy a Ferrari design.

Looks dodgy. The Corvette might not have the prestige of a Ferrari etc. but it looks fantastic as it is - don't fix what ain't broke.

If you bought a Z06 or ZR1 it's because you didn't want a Ferrari.

Think it looks crap, if you're after a boosted Vette go visit Lingenfelter or Calloway.

This looks very good. Finally a good loking car that does not cost an arm and a leg.
And for all that "ferrari copy" ado: nearly every car looks somehow like, hes something of, reminds me of....
It si just that if it is a ferrari that resembles an old caterpillar or kia, it is called design.

I'd have one any time...

Rear buttresses look like add-on ones from Halfords. Nowhere near a 599 on which those are integrated.

They look like Deputy Dawg's (or a Lop-eared rabbit's) ears flying through the air.

That grill looks liek it has been badly photoshopped in using some Ferrari stock images, those buttresses add nothign but drag, and will probably fly off during the first jaunt down the Autobahn. The rear clip doesn't look that bad, a bit kit-car, but a better effort than the front.

Overall, it just looks like a bunch of bolt-on clips for a 'Vette.

I was thinking the same about the poor paint match. The back does, just look plain wrong & cheap. It sits too high on the rear suspension and the front look a bit like a cartoon character from the film 'Cars'. If the front was toned down a tad, that would work for me.

As for 1000 HP, well I hope that you can afford to be fitting new tyres every 1,000 miles smile

Oh dear god, that's frickin' awful and I'm thinking might be a criminal offence. The sort of car you can hate instantly on sight.

Callaway do it so much better:

You are being sarcastic aren't you Lusifer??

Tigra rear lights, and a Corvette that's been beaten about with the ugly stick AND a set french curves.. granted the Czech version has zero originality but christ that Calloway is god awful

To everyone running their mouths...

Where's yours???

What are you doing to be innovative.

Most cars now a days have some sort of resemblence to another.

The car looks cool! At least they are trying.

Anyway; who says your opinions count?

A bunch of Zora Arkus-Dumb Asses.

Sorry. You probably don't even know who Zora is.
