I’ve signed it anyway, but it would be nice if people took the trouble to get these things right.

The petitioner states the Dartford Toll is £1 when in fact it’s now gone up to £1.50

It's now £1 with the Dart Tag, £ 1.50 without.

Petition could have been started before the increase when it was £1 without Dart Tag....but can't see a date when it was first created....?

I think the government is calling it a 'congestion charge' now instead of a toll?

There would be very little congestion if the toll booths were bulldozed and the traffic allowed to flow freely....

signed

but if they do scrap the charges, what will happen to all the operators, they'll be out of a job, seems we may just be paying to keep them in a job at the mo.

and would they keep the barriers if the toll was scrapped?

My point exactly.. There is only a congestion because of the tolls... banghead

But of course the government uses the queues they have caused to charge us more money furious
