GP1 rescues P1 members
P1, the oldest and largest supercar club in the UK went in to administration last week. Members of P1 paid an annual membership and received a predetermined number of days access each year in a supercar of their choice. The P1 group consisted of P1 (North) Limited, based in Cheshire and P1 International Limited based in Surrey.
P1 was founded in 2000 with former F1 world champion Damon Hill and current chief executive officer, Michael Breen. The trouble began when Damon Hill began to serve a winding up order on P1 due to an unpaid debt.
Unfortunately no buyer has been found to date, although the former managing director of P1 (North) Limited, Nick Bailey has teamed up with Richard Brittle, chief executive of Brittle Motor Group Limited in order to launch their immediate rescue plan for the previous members of P1.
Today Nick and Richard have formed their new club, GP1 Supercar Club Limited. They wish to honour 100% of any lost points (up to a maximum of 1000) that any member of P1 (North) has remaining on the basis that they renew their membership with GP1 Supercar Club. In order to protect new members they are offering an 11-month payment plan. Without such a rescue plan all points / credits will be lost and become worthless.
Offices for GP1 Supercar Club are already located in Manchester city centre, Birmingham city centre, Mayfair London and Staffordshire. Their extensive fleet is already active, with cars from Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, etc.
If you are a current P1 member and wish to discuss your own rescue package e-mail Nick on nb@gp1supercarclub.com.
