Unfortunatety, this just goes to re-enforce a comment I made a few weeks ago, the government, rather than edeucate children as they did when I was a child, would sooner pealise drivers, which means that accidents that could have been avoided through education are not..

why dont they teach road safety ?

Of course but it helps if the message is reinforced by other adults, in school, Green Cross Code etc. As the OP suggests the SCPs don't help by visiting schools and getting kids to believe in the speed kills line and drawing pictures of speeding cars

we're tops on road construction safety apparently.....oh and marvelous at implementing and administering pointless Euro Legislation that the rest of Europe is smart enough to ignore
