service history

Hi, I am quite new to this....help! Have decided to trade in my bmw 330 and when checking the books in the car I cannot find the service history. The garage say they updated when they serviced it a month ago but they don't seem to have it there either. Obviously I have a problem, how can I check the service history of my car
B5 NBM please. BMW have ordered me a new book but really need info to confirm service details to garage for trade in. I only bought the car last Sept time so don't know further back than that. Thanks for any help you can give me. janjo

If it's a full BMW service history then the details are held on the BMW computer. The dealer who's getting you're service book should be able to give you a print-out of those details.

They will be able to tell you the SH.

If there's been any non-bmw work then unless you know where from then no chance. You cannot "make" up service history either (I've got alarm bells ringing on this thread but I'll give the *new* OP the benefit of the doubt for now) so unless you find the docs you had when you bought the car then your only hope is BMW customer services as above. They are usually pretty good I've heard so if all legit won't have any probs getting a print out of all work done at bmw main dealers.
