I understand this is a fairly common problem with Nissans- my rev-counetr either flops straight round to the stop needle or occasionally dances around with no relationship to the engine. Anybody got an answer that doesn't involve removing the dash?

Usually dry joints on the board behind the clocks. Get the soldering iron out. Or just swap them with another set of clocks, they're easy to change the milage on to get them right. Ask on www.sxoc.co.uk if you'd like a more indepth reply smile
