Alan Melling's wife Margaret has died in Portugal while the pair were over there on a business trip.

While many Pistonheaders have disagreed with Alan over the years, I hope I can speak for us all when I say he has the heart-felt condolences of everyone on here.

That's very sad - how come no mention in the main PH news
especially as Al always proves newsworthy?
Wonder what the coroner report was - as it states his wife's had a mystery illness, and died quickly?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but does anybody have any current news on Melling? I see from his website that the fourth (last) car raffle has been scrapped. Does this spell the end of the project? Has he lost heart after his wife's sad death? Or is that format simply no longer sustainable?

Margaret lived her life in the fast lane, a 70 year old lady who drove a Corvette!!
