87 944s Conversion ?

can a 87 944s 8valve engine be swapped with an 87 16 valve???

a 944S is a 16Valve 2.5 Yes it could be changed with all the manifolds etc to an 8V either 2.5 or 2.7 or it could be swapped for an S2 16V 3 litre all with the accompanying bits like ECUs etc.
