Yep....... I've been following that...... GM suggesting they might now shut down SAAB.

Is that them just trying it on with the Swedish Govt in a hope they'll cough up some support or are they serious..... ?

Koenigsegg have no experience of the SAAB market place. I'm surprised that they ever considered buying it.

Sadly SAAB is probably not worth saving. The volumes and profits make no sense. The image is one of an alternative to other products that are just as good.

The market doesn't miss Rover or MG much and they had more to offer (product variety and price range) than SAAB does.
