Okay... I may be asking for trouble with this one, but if you're caught just that bit over the limit, is there anything anyone's found that works?

Their advice is usually good - fill out the online form that details the offene etc and post it in the forum for advice.

Though you'd have to have balls and willpower to try out some of their suggestions. From what I've read, some have had coppers knocking at their door etc, and have had to sit there and pretend they're not home etc.

If fluttering eyelashes, an inviting cleavage, a saucy smile, and a doughnut didn't work, paying the cheaper option is at least cheaper.

If only I'd not eaten that last doughnut! frown

People need to bear in mind that taking it to court for failing to identify the driver now involves a fine, 6 points and a much higher tariff of costs that has been revised by the CPS to reflect the actual cost of prosecution, not a token contribution. So it's quite possible to walk out of court for failing to disclose the driver £600 and 6 points lighter, sometimes more.

The only 'get out' that I know of is trying to wrangle your way onto a 'speed awareness' course but you have to effectively plead guilty at the first sign and even then they have to like you. These are usually offered only if its a minor transgression (e.g. 45 in a 40). Plus they're about £300 which you have to pay but at least you get away with no points.

simples

buy a Porsche...

Have been speeding in mine for years, cops wont even tug me.

Gone past HATO's and pig cruisers well over 90, and no problems even give em a wave

I find it best to sit in the middle lane at a comfortable 65 when having a bite I can concentrate better, also having your rear fogs on, warns people behind me to take care smile

at the moment.
I'm replying to this on my blackberry, got a coffee in the glovebox which I'm occassionally slurping and a sarnie in my lap, the M4 is lovely and clear, life is great... oh goto go, the moby's ringng gotta answer that

toodles !

Buy a Porsche seems to be the obvious (yet slightly more expensive) answer!
