Come on britain havent we had enough yet ???...........lets do what the americans & canadians do when they put up fuel prices ,the public & business must stand up & demand price decreases .i can't believe we have been so lame ....surely this can't go on ???????????????????????????????????

My objection isn't the price of petrol for personal transport. The majority of petrol cost is tax, most people moan at paying tax but moan when there are cutbacks in services/facilities. It’s the poor business owners I feel for who are trying to scrape a living with everything against them.

I spend less than 5% of my income on petrol per month with a commute of 70 miles. Petrol isn't too expensive - it's too cheap for private use which is why the road is full of petrol drinking luxury cars. Don’t complain about the price of petrol, get a more fuel efficient car! But then what about the depreciation which is actually more expensive for many car owners than the cost of the petrol. Who do we blame for that?

I lived for some time in Saudi Arabia where a tank of fuel for a Chevy V8 is less than a tank of fuel for my lawn mower back here in the UK – yet they complain about petrol prices there too!!!

Let’s not pretend there is a problem or an issue where there isn’t.
