The kit car icon of the seventies, the Nova is alive and kicking again. Stirling Kit Cars in the USA and All Kits in the Philippines are building Novas to order. Stirling Kit Cars are producing a kit based on the Mk 1 Nova / Stirling using either a VW floorpan or a tubular chassis for mid engine layouts. They also have a race prepared chassis. Engines range from mild to wild, standard VW or highly tuned VW, Ford V6 and even a 400 bhp turbo Subaru. A electric powered car is also available. Depending on your choice of running gear and engine the price of a turnkey factory built car can exceed $100,000.00! If you own a Nova / Stirling / Sovran or Cimbria / Eagle SS that requires restoration then Stirling Kit Cars will be able to help. Stirling Kit Cars also produce a range of add on bits such as rear spoiler, air scoops for all air intakes, Cimbria twin rear screen panel to replace the dated Nova / Stirling rear louvre, side skirts and chrome air intake grills. They can also supply pod and the newer 'flat' dashboard.
All Kits of the Philippines are also producing the Mk 1 Nova / Stirling and also the Cimbria. They will build you a car to your specifications using new or second hand parts. The cars interior is leather trimmed with Nova, Stirling or Cimbria logos stitched into the seat backs and the dashboard instrumentation is state of the art. Engine choice is if it fits then they will fit it. Chassis is tubular in steel or alloy and the body is fibre glass with carbon fibre reinforcement around the windscreen area. They are also able to custom paint your car however you wish. You can visit the factory to watch your car being built. Stirling Sports Cars and All Kits will ship cars world wide. All Kits also build in either fibre glass or steel using a donor car, most exotic sports cars that are available today at a fraction of the cost of the original. So if you fancy a Veyron...

I saw a Nova dowN in Dijon of all places a couple of weeks ago, still looks fantastic after all these years. Could you please post some photos to help educate those among us who have no idea what you are talking about. Probably the only car in the world that has better doors than my car! I was surprised when I saw the nova that after 35 years it's design still looked very fresh. I take my hat off to the guy driving it as there can't be many in France. If my memory serves me correctly there used to be a lovely blue one with an electric canopy and a Lotus twin cam.

As has been said many times before......THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PHOTOS! bounce

Well, in that case, how much for one of these? smile

Although, of course, it would require the usual accessory obfuscation disguise building, too:

this one cropped up over on vx220.org the other week mainly because this highly modified example has VX rear lights (not an easy thing to source!)

Amazing looking thing!
