Chauffeur Magazine
Gloves on, hat on, poker face on, Chauffeur mag tucked in the door pocket...

Most trades have a magazine bringing news within their business but until recently those in the chauffeuring business were neglected. Now that's been addressed by an Eastbourne-based chauffeur who has turned his hand to the print trade.
Paul Gibson, 28, is the publisher and owner of The Chauffeur Magazine - Britain's first publication dedicated to the industry since 1914.
"Chauffeurs are a unique breed of people " says Paul. "When you are responsible for up to £300,000 of car, not to mention the safety of the passengers, you need to take your driving seriously. But chauffeurs usually eat, drink and breathe cars - not just because it's their work - but because they really love them. For 90 years, there hasn't been a forum for their thoughts and feelings about their work or the cars they drive ".
Paul decided that a dedicated magazine would become an immediate hit with both chauffeurs - there are an estimated 30,000 in Britain - and their clients and "The Chauffeur Magazine" was born. The first issue launched in December, was handed out to chauffeurs across the UK, and has already attracted serious interest. The Chauffeur Magazine is a subscription magazine producing 10,000 copies, 6 times each year. It will cover issues from Insurance to security advice and new vehicle launches to driving techniques.
Based in East Sussex, Paul does most of the creative work himself. "I'm always meeting other chauffeurs at events and we always end up talking cars. They encouraged me to create the magazine and are a source of many ideas and items. I enjoy taking the pictures, writing the articles and designing the magazine. But most of all, I love the cars. What could be better than building a new business surrounding my real passion - big, expensive luxury cars?"
