Police officers 'smashed OAP driver's window!!
Discussion
Hang on a minute – the main fact of this case is that amongst other motoring offences (illegal tinted windows, illegal number plate) Mr Whatley was not wearing a seatbelt AND there was afterall a seatbelt campaign on at the time as can be seen from this article:

Further more the police officers already had information of a recent £250,000 vehicle heist in Abergavenny which is about 15 miles away from where Mr Whatley was first stopped, as can be seen from this article, and low and behold an unregistered BLACK RANGE ROVER was one of the vehicles stolen.

So don't you think that in this instance the police were ACTUALLY doing their job?! An unregistered range rover could have had any number plate put onto it to disguise it and Mr Whatley drove away which indicates guilt.Google search “Mr Whatley, Usk” and see that this man is far from innocent. It appears that he does have an axe to grind against the police and clearly has a lack of respect. In the previous incident he was also arrogant and abusive to the police officer and refused to give his details. He also made a complaint against the police on this occasion too but got nowhere.
Furthermore, Bear in mind that this incident http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1204146/Gi...
happened just over a month prior to the Mr Whatley incident and not far away from Gwent either! So don’t you think it is likely that this was also in the back of these officers mind when faced with an abusive driver who was refusing to give his details, knocked a police officer over and then drove off AND believed he was being given a “Police escort home” !
I think that WHEN the full facts of this case come out we will all see exactly what kind of a person this Mr Whatley really is !!
