I'd have though simply welding the doors shut, with fatty in the car, would be the most secure and agreeable soltuion all round.

I could've sorted that out!

Surely he ought to be using the bus or a bycicle, or maybe a Smart at a push to show us all the way on the environmental front?

Oh, or have i missed the fat tw@ts double standards policy again?

This is how the Sun reports the story..

Wonder if he has to pay company car tax on it? 35% of £143 grand shouldn't make too much of a dent in the fat bawstard's finances.

Nurses and Teachers have to strike to get a 2% pay rise and that fat c*nt gets a brand new jag, complete with extra security measures (about £300K on a normal luxury car) for no apparent reason. They only came to power in 96 so at most his other two cars are 6 years old!

Oh and no doubt that will be careering down the M4 bus lane through speed cameras sometime soon while the rest of us lose life, time and money sitting in the abomination that flat cap wearing half wit inflicted on the rest of us.

He should be forced to ride a bull everywhere a la Mongo from Blazing Saddles. In the last few weeks I have really started empathising with Guy Fawkes.

Matt.

Do these hypocritical b@st@rds think that no-one will notice? Do they not dislike the fact that everyone hates them because of this kind of attitude?

Tory and Labour are just as bad as each other, bunch of hypocritical greedy selfish slimebags. Free holidays, free un-necessary cars, driving 200 yards (no wonder he's such a fat slob). Meantime, up go everyone's taxes to pay for this kind of attitude. They wouldn't get promoted above toilet cleaner in most real jobs, and they'd f*k that up too.

Next time I'm voting Green ... oh sh*t no, I want to keep running my TVR (when I get it).

If Boris Johnson was a party leader I'd vote for him (see another thread somewhere).

OK Rant over for the time being.

But, I usually try to think a little about voting, what do I want to achieve, who should I vote for?

And whoever gets in power we always get the same crap - crime, potholes, rising taxes, longer waiting lists for anything connected with public service, sh1te attitude from most public sector "service", massive variety in schools and health so that having a good education and good health depends on where you live or how rich you/your parents are ... And of course to live in the "right" area you have to be rich as well ...

Lower unemployment, I'll grant you, before anyone points that one out.

OK Rant really is over this time.

But ... No, I won't say it.

If he did not constantly people off he would not need all that security.

And whats with sending it to Holand to have the work done cant he get it done here, and if not why not use some of the uneployed and train them up and get them to set up their own company.

I think we should send Prescot to holand and leave him there

Plotless has hit the nail on the head. I do get the feeling of the "animals looked at the pigs and then at the men and none could tell the difference". Who the hell do we vote for next? nonegreen, time for your campaigning

Hey, leave her alone she told BLiar to f**k off fair and square in her book.

plotloss and JohnLow are spot on. What sticks in the throat is the arrogance that allows these people to spend our money on expensive cars for themselves, money taken from us by pretending that our cars are screwing the climate. They know how this will make us feel but they feel sufficiently secure behind their armoured glass and highly-paid lawyers that they can simply ignore it. The way that we, the people who elect and pay them are treated with such utter contempt is sickening.

This is arrogance of breathtaking proportions, "do as I say, not as I do" with a vengeance. To be fair, not all politicians are the same but Prescott has to be about the worst. He is an ignorant, loutish oaf who has risen to power through the cynical exploitation of the politics of envy within the Labour movement.

He has, and continues to, pander to the basest human emotions of greed and jealousy, stirring up the anger of poor unfortunates who have little or nothing against those who through hard work and endeavour have managed to achieve some success in their lives. He does this to feed his own bloated ego, allowing him to wallow in his own self-importance while those who actually generate the wealth he enjoys are left to suffer in his wake.

I have nothing but contempt for this self-seeking, hypocritical buffoon. Let us not forget that not long ago he was Transport Secretary and had that job taken quietly away from him because of his manifest incompetence, sadly not before he had sown the seeds of many of the nonsensical policies we see nearing fruition today.

I hope for your sake the glass in your Jaguar is very, very thick Mr. Prescott because far better men than you have found themselves short of their head once the masses turn against them and there are plenty of us around who would regard the act of separating your ugly, sneering face from your sad, sloping shoulders both a pleasure and a patriotic duty.

Gee I must have been stressed this morning.

Consider this: would you prefer to have our somewhat arrogant hypocrites, or an evil twisted nazi like Le Pen?

(My predjudicial language should tell you what I think ...)

I do think, by and large, most of our lot mean passably well when they start out. Tone really did have some good ideas (I wouldn't ditch our (Scottish)parliament, for all its foibles, for e.g.)

Slim John may well believe that he's had enough threats to his life that he needs an armoured car (why not just buy a Volvo ?) but if he wasn't such a tw@t he wouldn't get the threats (I'm guessign about the threats) and people wouldn't throw eggs at him so he wouldn't have to justify punching them.

Interesting on that incident: all Tone said was "John will be John". I wonder what sort of hold Three Jags has over him? He'd've sacked anyone else.

John.
(A little slimmer than Fatty Three Jags)
(And I'm probably voting LibDem next time. There may be not much policy difference from Labourvative but they give a reasonable imitation of being honest)

PS I met the Irish President Mary Robinson once (me and a whole load of others, I wasn't being singled out for anything special) Anyway her official car was an Alfa 164, I thought that was a touch of style for someone in that position and set a reasonable example of not blowing away the country's money. She came with one assistant and a driver in the same car - no huge entourage. Wish our lot would follow that example.

Sorry to misquote, but ... isn't it a bit wasteful to put two politicians in a Jag and set fire to it? I mean they'll easily seat four.
