Dacia Duster Banned Ad - crass stupidity?

Well, I've searched via PH to ensure that this hasn't been posted before (but as we know the engine isn't very good sometimes (note to Mr Haymarket techy bod's) so I hope not.

I've just seen the banned ad for the Dacia posted on You-Tube. I cannot believe that a manufacturer would be so crassly stupid as to put out an advertisment like this, even in the hope that it's crassness would help it go viral.

Am I missing something? or have I been duped to such outrage that I reach for my laptop and my favourite PH' fellows to outpour my disgust and thus bump up it's ratings?

The insensitivity, crudity and offensiveness that this displays must surely cause beggers belief?

I love humour, I give out sarcasm out in spades and I expect to get it back in equal measures. I love expressiveness of individuality and laughing at our own falibillity- Gerald Ratner a case in point -(major woops there ) but offensiveness and degredation of standards- no... sorry!

I've posted my sensibilities before, on line- I like the collective humour of PH, I like the way we can take the mick out of one another without it causing offense, be it sexual, car related or WHY.

The wheelchair, the Red K dress or Eric the Aviator, all to me are symbolic of "good craic" ........but this ... Dacia?.....WTF were you thinking?????

Am I the only one or did I roll out of bed the wrong side this morning?.... Am I turning into Victor Meldrew? please tell me I'm not! Tell me I haven't been duped and that somewhere in some far off marketing agency a credit note has been issued along with a P45! Top Gear did it correctly - this however is a major faux paux!

I used to work with a bunch of Romanians for the previous importer back in the late 80s.
(even spent 2 weeks at the factory)

I looked at one of these last year on my travels. I like the concept, and I think it will appeal to those who think that 4x4s are just getting a bit blingy now. I'd fancy one as a towcar
