It's sacrilidge to copy the original! What a typical shitty American thing to do. They have to copy everything. Most of our war films end up involving american soldiers, even if they were'nt in the actual battle. Call me old fashioned.

Are they actually using new beetles then? Can't believe BMW let that one slip through, would have been brilliant publicity for the new MINI.

IIRC they tried this before - a very crap film starring David Hasslehoff which was basically an americanised Italian Job, didn't work then, probably won't work now. WTF happened to hollywood making original action movies???

Ah, but what they really need to do it add a character called 'Arthur' with his trusty side kick 'Hobson'.
Arthur can do the whole thing pi**ed whilst being ticked off by Hobson. If anyone has seen 'Arthur' and 'Italian Job', the combination of the two would be hilarious.
