Ok! so you all know my love of Jags biggrin

Came across this just now- can't see it posted anywhere else, MOD's please move if appropriate

The lads across at Jalopink seem to have stolen a march on us, from our own back door no less!! laugh

A design proposal for a new Jag. Doesn't quite look babyish to me but still darn nice; what do you think?

Looks like a 4 door SLS, ie not a bad thing.

Some dummy's put the steering wheel on the wrong side, though. wink

It looks like it might have suicide doors like an RX7 looking at the handles position. Not sure about the back of the car, it looks like the boot has a grille built into it.

Also I know it's just a design concept but aren't those front wheels way too far forward?

This is the first concept in a very very long while that I have actually said, "Wow" about, out loud. Absolutely love it. Would order one tomorrow if I could.

Now, there is the small question about whether Jaguar would ever let it happen, because...and let's be honest here...it does turn the clock back on Jaguar styling by about 15 years.

After all the hard work that Ian Callum et al have done in moving things on, would they ever let this thing be born?

Pity if they didn't, cos I'd buy one probably without even drving it!

It's a pretty thing, sure, but almost exactly what they have tried very hard NOT to do.

A nice as this is as a styling excercise, for me, it harks back too much to the old XJ6. It's just not what Jaguar are about now.

Pretty, but too retro. The current XJ is better and more radical.
