Road repairs

Saw on the news this morning a small piece on a stretch of earthquake hit Japanese road that was repaired in six days! From the pictures it looked perfect and the before pic shows a crack that had lifted about two metres. Don't think road workers in the UK really have any more excuses to spend half a year repairing a small pot hole!!!

It's taken what seems like an awful lot of men, a lot of lorries & a large tarmac laying machine three days to resurface the 120 square meter lane that I live on, so I think you are correct.
