For those that don't know the road, there are a series of bends within a 40 mph limit, then it's straight NSL. I can take the bends safely at 40mph in my Skoda - WTF was he playing at? Excess of cash over skill?

With the amount of detailed evidence available, it's clear because he could afford an Aston Martin he deserved to die?

Condolences to family and friends.

Condolences, of course. But with the limited evidence available it would appear that he managed to get an Aston on its roof in a field adjoining a straight road on leaving a 40 mph limit. That to me suggests an excess of bhp over driving skill.

On the evidence available, I think that's a very misjudged comment to make on a publically accessable forum.

I know my post may have come over as all pious, but when I read stuff like this I always think, there but for the grace of god go I.

This is what I hate about the net. You wern't there and neither was I, so its at best ill advised to make a judgement call on his driving ability.

Judging by the newspaper article he was evidently good at his job and liked his cars.....and you could say pretty much the same about most of us on here.

We are one petrolhead less, so my condolences to his nearest and dearest

Ill thought out OP

Crash a Skoda and it's an accident, crash a more exotic car and you simply have too much money and not enough driving skill?

Agree with Zeb.

We all like exotic cars on here and most like driving fast (ok not on public roads).

Jealousy is not a good trait and it's making some of you look very ugly. Shame on you.
