Just seen an offer on GroupOn for VIP experience at Silverstone next week during the GP2 Series test. Thinking of buying some tickets? What does anyone else think?

Yep, that sounds like fun. Better if i can find someone to drive to enjoy the free booze!

I called them, and they said the engineers would go through the telemetry after testing - cool!

i could pull a sicky and come..... I don't drink, never have done since my brother got really drunk when I was younger and gutted my dog in front of me..... he'd stolen a bottle of my fathers gin and drank the whole lot.... I will be driving from Guildford if i go up so would be happy to give you a lift

can't come into London, I'm not allowed inside the m25, shouldn't go into why on here.....

I could pick you up from a gas station somewhere? Can you send me a photo of yourself though, I'm not particularly keen on traveling with you if you're overweight, I have quite a small car and don't think it will work

Have I mis-read something, or are people really paying nearly 400 quid for a GP2 team to pretend to be their friends for the day?

Well I guess not many people have which is why it's on groupon.

I suspect the new members who have otherwise populated this thread are pawns of the organiser. Quite naff behaviour if so.

What's naff about publicising a great event.

Seriously, where else are you going to get that kind of behind the scenes access to one of the top British teams? I've been to dinner's that cost more than that!
