Clio 172 v. Golf GTi
Discussion
buy the clio,i used to have one and its a riot. and it will also leave a lardy golf gti for dust!
you can instantly improve the look of a 172 by fitting "172 cup" alloys.the golf will always look like a box IMHO.
for the price of a 52 plate 172,you might be able to find a 172 cup possibly?

to be fair abs did save my front end once.
it'll hold up for 2 years.i had mine for 2&1/2 years and 44000 miles and with the occaisional niggle but nothing serious.
if your an enthusiast you'll get bored very quickly with a golf gti whereas the clio's power delivery will always put a smile on your face
