According to MSN Cars 4 out the Top 10 most vandalised cars are BMW's, bizarrely the Skoda Ocatavia is in there too! Only 1 Audi (TT) and 1 Merc (CLK). No Ferrari surprisingly.

There aren't enough of them to make the list, probably. I expect if the list was done proportional to the number sold they would appear.

Sounds about right, every nice car I've ever owned (including BMW's) have been fiddled with, or dinged in the car park.

No one messes with my 2000 Megane Coupe - well the window cleaner did, he fell off his ladder and landed on the bonnet.... smile

No one messes with it now - funny that!

The Octavia is the biggest surprise there; they are good cars but surely not the kind of status symbol that upsets the dickless grunts that vandalise cars?

Ferrari owners are very selective aaa to where they park.

I'm guessing its because of all the Octavias that are taxis... which get abused by drunks angry that they're being charged £25 for a 10 min journey. (Bristol price)

"Ah but its book price sir"
-I don't give a damn what your book says.. What if I've got a book that says its 50pence... now go fill out your tax return.

I second the comment above. The skoda is almost definately all about the taxis. Im surprised the list doesnt contain the entire BMW range topped up by the odd audi TBH. Scrotes hate 'look at me cars' and the road rage element must help the figures. For every good german car driver there is always atleast double that number in idiots. Thats the problem with prestige brands becoming affordable.

Whys is the 525 and 530 separate? Surely they should all come under bmw 5 series, like all the other models in the list. Makes me think that BMW are way ahead in reality.
