Cat-exhaust joints

Hi all,just about to change exhaust and fit de-catts,( act) Do I need to use any sealing compounds on manifold joints etc, wasn't planning to, but don't want to do it twice,any info gratefully received.

Nope, non used mine when fitted or when i refitted them after doing my diff.

Guess it will depend on your de-cats but standard system doesn't need sealant.
Just a good set of ring spanners
(and a pet Octopus)

Just fit them on dry! Plus they come off easier for MOT time!
