Scuttle panel and FI panel alan bolts

Any ideas where I can buy some of these with the washers? I've tried the equivalent parts thread and some googling but struggling to find somewhere.

Has anyone tried a different type of fixing? I was wondering about a 'quick release' type arrangement. It only crossed my mind last weekend because the captive nut in the wing came out with the bolt and I had to get friendly Mr. Araldite out.

those Steve Heath ones are very nice. Don't think I can justify the extra cost over the ones from pro-bolt. Any idea of sizes so I can order now while I'm at work?

hmm I worked it out at closer to £40 compared to £8 for the normal bolts? Am i looking at the wrong one?

Allen bolts from local hardware shop, Allen key from outside flatpack furniture tool kit..... Sorted. :-)

Ah i see sorry missed the "for 2" bit. If i was going for the Steve Heath ones i would want to replace them all. Thoug could probably get away with the 3 for the scuttle panel. Shame they dont do a 3 pack?

I changed mine all to csk hex heads in stainless steel.

They look so much better than those half rusty black type as fitted as standard

I did post a link to them when i first showed people, they weren't cheap at about £10 each. Might make some if i get some bar using the lath at work

I used www.ebolt.co.uk and replaced with stainless steel, all the engine cover hex bolts, countersunk washers, penny washers and domed nuts on my speed 6 for around £20. the only problem I have is that a couple of the inserts enbedded in the fibreglass are missing so need to replace them to finsh the job properly..
