What is this wire?

So, after checking the fuse and relay for the fuel pump (see other thread) I noticed this wire wasn't connected at the back of the fuse board:

(Purple with a white stripe, top of photo)



It's a normal spade connector, I wondered if it went here:



It seems to be the only spare spade termial of the right size that has nothing plugged into it.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or could look at their car?

Not to hand, and I'll wake the little'un if I disable the alarm on the garage to check the car, but purple/white is the british standard colour for interior light wiring and white/purple for fuel pump. No idea if that's what TVR used, but in the absence of anyone else with the wiring diagrams/car in front of them...

There is a wiring diagram in the workshop manuals that are at the links in the equivalent parts stickie thread at the top of the forum.

You should be able to find it from there.

You may need to print the diagrams at A3 or bigger though to see them properly.

i saved them all on my computer and can view and trace them pretty good using just the screen seems to work okay
