Just ordered some GAZ Golds

I have just ordered some Gaz gold having sold the engagement ring that is no longer needed.

Just seen a thread stating ride height of 130mm from chassis rails, which is a good starting point. I can't really go any lower because of my steep drive way.

The main question i have are what are the sizes of the nuts on the suspension bolts, or is there a kit for just replacing the main shocks bolts?

And is there anything else that i need to know before doing this hopefully next weekend.

guess i have just answered my own question with the steve heath kit, but i'm only really after the shock bolts and nuts.

Shock bolts only. They are Imperial sizes not metric. You'll find it a lot easier replacing the fron shocks if you can get hold of a strong prise bar.

130 mm sounds right, but the rear needs to be set 5-10mm higher.

Prise bar check, got a set of three draper ones off ebay not so long ago, good set with the differing lengths.
