Essential spares for Le Mans......
Discussion
...just wondering what you guys are taking in the way of emergency spares...
I have organised (other than the usual array of tools) some of the following:
Spare 'big' fuse 100amp
Spare belts
Spare fuses (spade type - mixed rating)
2 x 1 litre Mobil oil
Small brake/clutch fluid
WD40
Tie-wraps (seem to get you out of the s**t when you least expect them to!)
Tyre weld
and if worse comes to the worse my RAC European recovery documents!
What 'other essentials' do you plan on taking or recommend?
...and before someone mentions spare starter motor and complete clutch assembly...forget it...Im not tempting fate!
editted becos i forgot to say 'tyre weld'.

So when your 50 miles from the nearest garage and on empty, you'll be safe in the knowledge that you really have run out of petrol![]()
Point taken...we have a 'support vehicle' travelling with us, and I guess it would make sense to carry some spare 'Optimax' just in case, in this, although im assured from our 'leader', that fuel stops have been carefully catered for!

Oi...!
cheeky sod..! Is now a nice time to point out that Sat Nav systems have a cut out and therefore do not work above certain speeds...?
Hope you don't get (too) lost..!
