Flat Battery, Locked Out, Four Hazard Flashes

Battery went flat but bonnet unlocked so battery now on charge. However, I can't open doors or boot. The fob appears to arm and disarm, but with four flashes not three as described in the handbook. Also now have a very rapid flashing green Door/Boot lock button, not seen that before.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Let the battery charge then disconnect/reconnect it to 'hopefully' reset everything.

Still four flashes rather than three, so that must have been a red herring.

Check the small switch in the boot, check the plunger sounds like it's broken and leaving the light on,
this then flattens the battery, exactly what mine did.
