Stone in Exhaust

Got a rattling in the back of the exhaust. SOunds suspiciously like some little barnet ahs put a stone down it.

any ideas how to get it out???

or unbolt the exhaust at a local exhaust place (if you dont want to get dirty)

Mine had a rattle that sounded like that - it turned out to be the baffle breaking down so on with a new sports exhaust - rattle gone!

My rattle turned out to be a cat.

Now I've got a de-cat and rattle has gone, well, I hope it has, can't really hear anything anymore.

What's that, speak up at the back.

I had a similar problem with my Nova - made a highly unpleasant noise when on idle - like someone rattling a stone in a tin can. The guy at the Quick Fit place said it was probably carbon deposits that were in the middle section.

Took it out and gave it a mega thrash and it went.
