Pics of my new P&J
Discussion
Well after some consideration I have taken the plunge and chopped my stunning Tuscan Mk1 in for a 4.2 Cerbera. I picked up the new P&J last Wednesday and am starting to become very smitten indeed! I loved my Tuscan and this was always going to be tough move to make but with 2 young boys I need the rear seats.
Expect to see a lot of me in this forum asking stupid questions as a newbie to the Cerb. I'll also be at the rolling road day in August and look forward to meeting a few of you there.

Thanks for the welcome!
To answer ukcerb's question, it's undoubtedly a LOT more planted. Completely different handling. The Tuscan felt like you were riding a mosquito, the Cerb feels a lot more predictable and you can feel the grip out of a bend much better. It seem to want to work with you rather than against you if that makes sense. The Cerb has Nitrons and Steve Heath drop links v my Tuscan standard set up which obviously helps as well.
I do miss the sound of the SP6 and the Tuscan always felt like you were "going Mach2 with your hair on fire" whilst the Cerb seems to pile on the MPH without you noticing just how quick you're going. I would say they're pretty close in terms of performance (mines A 4.2) but the 4.5 has a more grunt top end - having gone hell for leather with a mtes en route to Le Mans a few times north of 100 the 4.5 Cerb eased away!

Thanks! And the seat fits. Bit of a squeeze behind me when we all went out in it last week but with the youngest in the front the Start fits better behind the passenger seat. Just means leaving the Mrs behind
There are plenty of worrying noises and whines in a Cerb. Losing one can never be a bad thing

And of course what you have there is actually a 4.5 albeit with 4.2 top end stuff. All the later 4.2's are in fact 4.5s. So with a remap you should get 400bhp out of it.
Ooh well I knew the bottom end was a 4.5 but what I didn't realise was a re-map could boost the power so significantly, hmmmmm.I can see a trip to St8six coming on...
So the list of to do's is beginning to take shape and thankfully for now it looks like there's not too many mechanical things to be fixed (crosses fingers and touches wood) as the list of work done recently by the previous owner is phenomenal!. In no particular order,
Remap
Anthracite refurb on the alloys
Paint the calipers
Maybe a slight re-trim to the interior (seat inserts, gaitors, bolsters in a lighter colour). This was my original plan but the all black interior is growing on me
Fix the drivers seat bolster - usual issue with the Tuscan seats
Put my private plate on
How long is it until Le Mans 2012
