Cabel fire Lambda heat

Does any body know where the cable for the lanmbda heaat ends?
I had a cable fire from the fuse board to the Multiway Connection 2 in the back of the car. I repaced the cable and I have tested the Amp which goes over the cabel. It´s between 3,5 - 1.8 Amp. I Think that is to much for a 0,5 mm size cable.
Or is that ok?
