A few niggles need sorting to get it MOT'd, chassis will be waxoiled at service then it's all mine! Going to have full interior retrim at some point soon as well, should be mint.

Too right! Think that must have got put there after the Austec rebuild. Lots of cosmetic work to do but mostly on the inside as I'm fussy about those sorts of things. But it all works (or will do!) and it drives great which is the main thing.Well done dude, welcome to the family

The car went to TVR Power at my request for a visual inspection, and to be assessed for the MOT. The niggles were principally things already evident from the test drive - namely that none of the steering buttons worked, or indicators, headlights....Normal electrical niggles that will be put right. Plus some stuff with the brakes, again these will be attended to at MOT and service. The dealer was sound and the car has a full history. It goes like stink and sounds glorious of course.It's in good nick on the outside (no stone chips) but the interior is worn and grubby but I'd already decided to get a full retrim whatever I bought in any case. I'm working on ideas now, complicated by the fact that I want to get it resprayed in reflex charcoal a year or so down the line. So going to be a combination of black with portland probably or maybe something even lighter, depends how it looks.
The fun starts here! I loved owning the Chim, think this will be even better.

You mean what I'm changing it too or what it is now? I've always wanted a reflex charcoal Cerb since I sat in one on the TVR Stand at the Motor Show. The interior was ivory and black IIRC and it was stunning. If I'm feeling flush I might finish it off with anthracite wheels.
Anyone on here got pics of a similar coloured interior?
And what are people's views on afterburners - good or a bit naff?

I reckon this one has had the conversion because the front end has clearly been resprayed fairly recently - its unmarked. It will be in the receipts somewhere but I've not read thema all in detail - I focused on the Austec rebuild.
I rather like afterburners but I'm concerned they are a bit blingy.
